“Pet flipping”

ALERT! Criminals have figured out a new way to make some quick cash, and it could involve your pet. “Pet flipping” is when a criminal will obtain a pet – often by stealing it, or answering a “found pet” or Craigslist ad and claiming to be the owner – and then turn around and sell it.
