Urinary Habits in Pets

We all dislike the smell of pet urine, but your dog or cat couldn’t disagree more!  To help prevent turf wars, consider these stimuli that might cause your pet to mark his/her territory: a visit to the house from another dog, a female in heat in the neighborhood, a dirty litter box, scents of old house training accidents particularly by another pet, and for cats, other cats roaming around your yard or porch.  Any pet can mark their territory. If this behavior appears suddenly with no stimulus it may be a medical problem.  So monitor your pet’s urinary habits and if changes are noted, let us know!
